How to stake $ROSE

A reliable way to stake and delegate your ROSE is using RockX.

1. Create/Sign in to your Account

Go to RockX Wallet for Oasis Network.

If you do not have an account yet, create one and fund it from either an exchange or get some ROSE tokens from someone who already holds them.

When you create a new wallet you will be shown 24-word mnemonic that you must securely store!

If you already have an account and you use Ledger then connect your Ledger and follow the instructions.

2. Open 'staking' tab

Once you are connected, select the ‘STAKING’ tab.

Find Chorus One among the list of validators and click DELEGATE in that row. The validators are sorted by their staking power. You can also see what commission they take on the staking rewards you earn, as well as how many people already delegate tokens to them.

3. Enter amount of ROSE to delegate

A pop will appear showing the details of the validator. Click on Delegate to proceed. Choose the delegation amount and Gas price

4. Sign the transaction

Sign the transaction by selecting the ‘SIGN AND SUBMIT’ button.

Congratulations! You’re now staking your ROSE tokens, and you should see a screen that looks similar to the one below!

Centrifuge is bridging real-world trade finance assets like company invoices into the world of decentralized finance through the Tinlake asset-backed lending protocol. Through Tinlake, users can tokenize non-liquid assets such as invoices (e.g. ConsolFreight) or streaming royalties (e.g. Paperchain) and borrow against these securitized assets. The Centrifuge Chain, which hosts the Tinlake protocol, is a Substrate-based Proof-of-Stake chain secured by a small set of validators including Chorus One. By delegating Centrifuge (CFG) tokens, stakers help maintain the network and its bridge to Ethereum, for which they earn staking rewards.

How to stake Centrifuge (CFG) tokens

1. Create a wallet using Polkadot JS extension
  1. Download the extension here and add it to your browser.
  2. Go to https://portal.chain.centrifuge.io and  authorize the connection to the extension
  3. Go to settings and update the metadata.
  4. Now go to the extension and create a new address by adding an account.
  5. In the next step change the network name to Centrifuge Mainnet and create an account name and passphrase.
  6. You can then refresh the portal, check the Accounts tab. Your address should appear there.

Make sure to note down your mnemonic seed in a safe place! You will lose access to your funds if you forget or lose it. It is not recommended to store them on an unsecured laptop

To stake CFG tokens you require 2 funded wallets. Follow step 1 twice to create these two and some CFG to both.

  1. The stash account - Main wallet.
  2. The controller account - Used for transactions and thus requires a small amount of tokens only.

3. Selecting a Nominator
  1. Once you have both the wallets funded with some amount head over to the Network tab and select Staking.
  2. Under the Staking tab select Account Actions and add a nominator by clicking on +Nominator.
  3. The Setup Nominator modal will appear. Make sure you select the correct stash and controller accounts.
  4. In the value bonded field add the number of tokens you want to stake.
  5. In the next step, nominate Chorus One as the validator.

Overview

Injective is an open, interoperable, layer-1 blockchain built for finance applications.

It provides a powerful smart contracts platform tailored for DeFi developers to build and launch dApps for widespread use quickly. Injective uniquely provides traditional finance infrastructures, such as an order book module, on-chain, and is highly interoperable with prominent layer 1s, including Ethereum and Cosmos.

Injective is built with the Cosmos SDK and utilizes a Tendermint proof-of-stake consensus for secure transactions with instant finality.

Some of the prominent ecosystem players within Injective:

  • Helix, the premier on-chain order book exchange for trading derivatives
  • Frontrunner, the first decentralized sports prediction market with zero gas fees
  • White Whale, a lending protocol for the interchain

Akash is a decentralized marketplace, where cloud providers (providers) can lease their computing power to users (tenants). The Akash marketplace functions by conducting reverse auctions whereby the tenant creates orders for computing power, and providers bid on these orders. When the tenant chooses a provider, they create a lease. After this, the user deploys a Docker container on the Akash Container Platform where users are able to then run any cloud-native application and access a range of cloud management services like Kubernetes.

Please note that the unstake period is 21 days. This means that you can only unstake and withdraw coins to your wallet after this time has passed. We wish you profitable staking!

    How to stake INJ (Injective)

    1. Access the Hub

We will stake via the Injective Hub. Go to https://hub.injective.network/ and click on Connect on the top-right corner to connect with any wallet currently integrated with Injective, which currently includes MetaMask, Ledger, Cosmostation, Leap, Keplr, Torus, or Trezor wallet.

    Wallet List
    2. Explore the dashboard

Once you get connected you can view your dashboard. On the top right, you can view and copy your INJ address and the equivalent address in Ethereum. The Disconnect option is also found here.

    Dashboard

    Your Injective address

    3. Delegate your tokens

On the dashboard, you can click on Delegate Now to view validators and delegate your INJ tokens to them.

    Delegate Now

When you click the button, you are shown the list of validators.

Search for Chorus One in the search box and click on Delegate Now

A popup window will appear, and you can specify the amount of INJ you wish to stake.

Click on Delegate and you will be asked to sign a transaction, which will take place entirely on the Injective Chain. This means you no longer need to pay high gas fees!

Congratulations! You've successfully delegated your INJ tokens. You can head back to the Wallet page to view your delegations.

    4. Claiming rewards and unbonding

You claim your rewards, distributed continuously every block, on the Wallet page. When you unbond your tokens, you will stop receiving rewards, and your original INJ balance will be returned to you after the unbonding period, which is 21 days. The unbonding period can be changed via community-based governance.

    1. Create an account

If you've spent some time reading how Avalanche works, you'd know that staking on Avalanche works a bit differently. First, you need an Avalanche Wallet. Create a new one or access your existing wallet here

Make sure you're on the right URL. Don't fall prey to phishing attacks by sites that look like the official wallet
Fastest Performing and Secure DeFi Wallet | Avalanche Wallet
    2. Purchase some AVAX

Once you've accessed your wallet, you need some $AVAX! If you bought your AVAX on an exchange, you'll need to transfer it to the X-chain. Copy your X-chain address and use it to withdraw your AVAX from the exchange.

    3. Cross Chain Transfer

You should now have some AVAX on the X-chain. But staking works with the P-chain so you need to use the "Cross Chain" feature to move your AVAX from the X to the P-chain. You will need to pay a small amount of AVAX as fees so make sure you don't transfer the entire amount.

    4. Select Chorus One Node

Once your AVAX is on the P-chain, it's time to stake! Click EARN on the left-hand side of the menu.

Since you want to delegate your AVAX, click on DELEGATE and then ADD DELEGATOR. Now you want to choose the Node you're delegating to. In order to delegate to the @ChorusOne node, copy one of the following two node-ids

    NodeID-4Ubqsj2vfwdGUUYNg1jtYpkYNNLugNBQ9
    NodeID-LkDLSLrAW1E7Sga1zng17L1AqrtkyWTGg

Go to Search Node ID and paste it there. Click Select. You're almost there!

Sometimes you might see the message that the Node is oversubscribed. Try using the other nodeID if you see this message. In case, you see this message for all the nodes, feel free to email at support@chorus.one

    5. Confirm Delegation

Select the end date for your stake, the amount for staking and click on Confirm. That's it. Congratulations. Your AVAX will now start earning rewards and you've just made the network more secure. If this AVAX staking guide helped you, share it with a friend!

The minimum staking duration is two weeks. A delegator will receive a higher percentage of rewards if they decide to stake for longer amounts (up to a year), thus incentivizing longer stake lengths.
